Where can I take classes?

The Cybersecurity Professional Program provides virtual, live classroom sessions in which students participate remotely.

Do you offer online courses?

Yes. The Cybersecurity Professional Program at American University is offered on a virtual platform, featuring live classroom sessions with expert instructors.

When do classes start?

Courses begin on a rolling basis.

Do I need an undergraduate degree or any other prerequisite to be eligible to apply?

You do not need any prerequisite experience to enroll in our Cybersecurity Professional Program. It is suitable for those without any experience in the field, as well as for those with some self-taught technical background.

How many credit hours is each program? Can I apply credits from these programs to a degree I'm currently pursuing?

You’ll earn 400 class hours, including the 30-hour Introductory Course. This is a non-credit program and class-hours from it cannot be applied to degree programs.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $15,500 for the Cybersecurity Professional Program, not including the $500 for the Introductory Course.

Do I need to be a student to apply to this program?

No. Our course is open to individuals coming from any educational or professional background, regardless of their enrollment status.

What if I’m working full-time – can I still take the program?

Absolutely! This program was built for working professionals with flexible evening and weekend course schedules available.
